• from 1985 Worked as a software developer in Stuttgart and Aachen
• 1989 Exhibition of silk painting in Aachen, followed by weekend workshops for painting on silk
• since 2002 working in IT at the RWTH Aachen University
• since 2010 Friday is free for painting
• since 2012 senior studies “Drawing + Painting” with Prof. Eichenberg at RWTH
• further training with various artists over the years
